Cloud Testing

Cloud Computing is well defined, well understood and little over-used word at present. It is just an "easy to say word" for more technical and appropriate acronyms like IaaS(Infrastructure as a service), PaaS(Platform as a service) and SaaS(Software as a service). 

But when it comes to Term "Cloud Testing" there is still some confusion. There can be three different meanings to this term

• Cloud based Testing

Testing infrastructure(harness,tools,scripts etc)itself is utilizing cloud computing to test off-cloud or on-cloud applications

• Testing Cloud based Applications

Testing infrastructure is of off-cloud to test on-cloud applications.

• Testing Cloud Providers' Services

It is about testing very base of cloud computing. How much we can rely on big claims of cloud providers. some independent bench marks needs to estabish the truth of claimers.
